One Memorial… One Community

On the eastern end of Long Island, New York, there is a small park in the town of Peconic that holds one of the most impressive testaments to American cooperation and love. Every year on September 11th, North Fork communities come together at Cochran Park to remember the fallen souls who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, those who served in the fireman’s brigade or on the force to save those who escaped, and those who had to deal with the suffering and loss every day. Throughout the years, we have been dedicated to making this place comfortable and respectful towards everyone who wants to hold the memory of this day close to their heart.

2022 Schedule: 21st anniversary of the attacks

Join us at 6:30 pm at Jean Cochran Park to place flags throughout the park to memorialize the 2977 souls that we lost on 9/11.
